Established in 1999 by the Hidrau Torque Group, Instituto Ato demonstrates that life can be better for children and low-income families living in needy communities in the city of São Paulo east region. The entity was created to take children out of the streets and improve the quality of life of families whose parents work and cannot afford paying school or day care institutions and have no one to take care of their children.
Instituto Ato currently offers education and food to more than 160 children who also receive school material, uniform and personal hygiene products. In addition to providing familiar support to the community, Instituto Ato offers trade courses to students' parents, psychological assistance and education lectures.

Selective Pickup
Selective pickup is an ecologically correct option that prevents recyclable solid residues from being dumped on sanitary landfills and large garbage disposal sites. Hidrau Torque practices the selective pickup of plastics, paper and organic residues. In addition to cooperating with the environment, the pickup results in a reduction of garbage within the company and in awareness of its employees.

C.U.R.A Project
Concerned with reducing the waste of potable water in the company's day-to-day, Hidrau Torque participates in a Brazilian project called CURA (Rational water consumption and use), the purpose of which is to cause its professionals and family members to become aware of the importance of making optimized use of water.
